Úsek laboratorních metod je součástí téměř každého většího zdravotnického zařízení. Je důležitou složkou zdravotní péče o pacienta. Tato oddělení patří mezi první, ve kterých se řízení kvality začalo používat, a to jako tzv. Správná laboratorní praxe. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl popsat systém řízení kvality na Úseku laboratorních metod ve Fakultní Thomayerově nemocnici s poliklinikou (FTNsP) formou případové studie. Tématem práce je implementace a hodnocení jednoho ze systému řízení kvality, tj. certifikace dle normy ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 "Systémy managementu kvality - Požadavky" na vybraných odděleních - Oddělení klinické hematologie a Oddělení klinické biochemie. Praktická část popisuje způsob implementace změny v systému řízení kvality, evaluaci dosažených výsledků a porovnání s předchozím stavem.
